Burkert USA Announces Grand Opening of New Charlotte, NC Facility

The new facility brings to customers full System House capabilities by providing systems and value-added solutions. Burkert USA’s Charlotte Facility will carry on the time-honored company tradition of innovation, responsiveness to customer needs and solid commitment to timely responses and customer solutions.

Charlotte, NC, December 1, 2006 — Burkert USA, a leading supplier of fluid control systems, today announced the opening of a new facility designed to further serve the needs and requirements of its customer base throughout the United States.

“Here at Burkert USA, we’re very excited about opening the doors on our new Charlotte facility,” says Greg Love, EVP of Sales & Marketing. “Growth in supplying value-added solutions for key markets has driven this expansion. Becoming recognized as a company that can provide innovative system solutions for the medical and process control markets furthered the efforts in establishing our new facility. We narrowed down possible locations to a mere handful. We are pleased to join the Charlotte business community and to expand our service market to the East Coast.

The international corporate culture of Burkert will be a good fit with the Charlotte community. Over 80 percent of our new facility employees have been selected from the Charlotte area. The responses of Charlotte’s labor pool, community leaders and business partners have all been very welcoming.”
