pH and conductivity control in a steam power plant
The flow of the cooling liquid is continuously controlled by a Top Control System 2702 which gets a PT100-signal as actual process value from measuring the temperature of the cooled down process water.
The pH-value (Transmitter Type 8205) and the conductivity value (Transmitter Type 8225) are compared with set point in PLC which decides whether the water will be discharged by a 3/2-way ON/OFF valve type 2002 or whether chemicals will be added through a valve type 5282 for neutralization.
